davisthomas is the collaboration of artists Adrian Davis & Lubi Thomas.
davisthomas seek to create works that weave subliminal connections between the work and the viewer by subtly highlighting the interplay between the artwork and one’s sensorial and inner dialogue responses. Utilising the diversity of the audiences personalized libraries of iconography, material associations and experiences, their practice foregrounds the experience of viewing. Equally, their practice is driven by their interested in liminal moments and the capturing, extending and expressing of the fleeting - the moment between one clear state and another.
