public commission biography
DavisThomas’ Public Commission practice is underpinned by the participatory experience interwoven with physical, material, memory and history of place iconography. The works fuse conceptual and physical relationships to the contextual and spatial nature of the site. Utilising the process of delineated abstraction the echoes of these elements combine with the audiences’ personal experience to engender a connection and interplay between the viewer, site and artwork.
