Mondo Motion, 2013

A program of talks and workshops designed to support animation students and emerging professtionals.

September: Hear collaborative duo Jules and Miles speak about their animation careers and stop motion projects.

The pair met at QUT while completing a Visual Arts degree. Their mutual interest in film and enjoyment of working together led to them completing an Honours degree in film and Television Production at the same institution. The artists went on to collaborate on a number of films including Maudi (1997), Gorgon (2001) and Rocky (2003).

August: Join talented animators at Studio Breeder as they discuss how the company first started, the career journey they have been on, and various noted projects they have worked on since the studio's inception.

Launched in 2010, Studio Breeder is a design-led motion graphics studio located in central Brisbane. With an all-consuming passion for story telling, exceptional design, music and sound, their motion works are relentlessly arresting, creative and diverse.

May: Igor Coric is a prolific Serbian animator currently working as Animation Director at Brisbane-based animation companiesSquid.tv and Bigfish.tv.

March: For the first session in our Mondo Motion animation program for 2013, join Seamus and Sam from award-winning Melbourne-based company OH YEAH WOW as they discuss the exciting projects they've been working on.
