Ars Electronica Festival 2020 - The Experimenta Garden, A Drone Opera - Mozilla Hub

Ars Electronica Festival 2020 was taking place not despite but because of Coronavirus. From September 9 to 13, the Festival for Art, Technology and Society simply asked the question, what to do now? And for the first time, this was the theme not only in Linz – in the city center and on the beautiful JKU campus – but at 120 locations around the globe.

Experimenta's Ars Electronica Garden Melbourne featured the multi-platform work A Drone Opera (2015 – 2020) by Matthew Sleeth. Experimenta produced a Mozilla Hub for the presentation of A Drone Opera in another unique and unexpected way. This hub also allowed for the presentation of supporting documentation from the whole project.
