VT2 brings together new-media artists from across the world in an annual project reflecting a global commitment to exploring cultural identity through professional arts practice.
Works by leading Indigenous Australian new-media artists r e a, Jenny Fraser, Jason Davidson and Andrew Hill will be exhibited alongside works by artists from Asia, Europe and USA in VT2, which builds on 2007's hugely successful project The Vernacular Terrain.
Since it's inception in 1999, International Digital Art Project has become a significant event in Brisbane, Beijing (China) and Yokohama (Japan), showcasing Australian digital artists to the world.
